A Career Rooted in Dedication and Growth

Joe’s journey in the agricultural equipment industry began shortly after graduating from high school in Ridgetown, Ontario. In 1980, he started an apprenticeship at Van-Cross Equipment Ltd. in St. Thomas, where his strong work ethic and technical skill quickly stood out. By 1983, Joe had earned his license as an Agricultural Equipment Technician, and just one year later, he was promoted to Service Manager.

He remained with Van-Cross Equipment until 1993, when he joined Podolinsky Equipment Ltd. as Service Manager — later moving into the role of General Manager.

Leadership Across Dealerships

In 1999, Joe became a partner in Fulline Farm & Garden, marking the next major milestone in his career. Over the years, he held key roles including Aftermarket Manager and General Manager, balancing his time between Podolinsky Equipment and Fulline until 2020, when he shifted his full focus to managing and growing the Fulline business.

Among Joe’s many accomplishments, he played an integral role in introducing Powersports to both dealerships in 2006 and launching the JCB line in 2020 — both of which became important parts of the business. His leadership helped guide these new ventures from vision to success.

A Lasting Impact on Industry Education

Beyond dealership management, Joe made significant contributions to industry education and training. He served for nine years on the Ontario Ministry of Colleges and Universities Industry Committee, helping to modernize the Agricultural Equipment curriculum to reflect the rapid pace of technological change.

He also played a pivotal role in establishing the John Deere TECH program, collaborating with John Deere, Ontario dealerships, and Fanshawe College. His involvement extended beyond planning — Joe even taught the program’s first semester to help ensure its successful launch.

A Legacy of Leadership and Community

Throughout his career, Joe has been known not only for his technical expertise and leadership but also for his commitment to people — colleagues, customers, and community alike. His approachable nature, passion for the industry, and drive for continuous improvement have left a lasting mark on everyone he’s worked with.

As Joe steps into retirement, we celebrate his remarkable journey and the countless ways he’s shaped both Fulline Farm & Garden Equipment and the broader agricultural community.

We invite all friends, customers, and community members to join us in thanking Joe and wishing him all the best in this exciting new chapter.
