2024 Pottinger NOVACAT S S12
With the NOVACAT S mower combinations, PÖTTINGER sets new standards in terms of high output and efficiency.
The NOVACAT S12 is the largest mounted mower combination available on the market. It gives you a full working width of 11.20 m with a power requirement of just 160 hp and the lowest fuel consumption. For the NOVACAT S10, tractors starting at 130 hp are all that is needed.
Features may include:
- Cutter bar
The PÖTTINGER cutter bar features an impressively sleek and dynamic design. The 4 cm high cutter bar guarantees optimum crop flow. Due to its 28 cm width, the cutter bar delivers the best ground tracking which is ideal for achieving a first class cut.
- TRI DRIVE
The driveline in the PÖTTINGER cutter bar is famed for its toughness and durability.
- Centre pivot mounting with hydraulic weight alleviation
The centre pivot mounting on the cutter bars provides a travel of +/- 22.5° for perfect ground tracking.
- Individual lift capability
Both mower combinations are equipped as standard with the BASIC CONTROL terminal. This enables each mower unit to be lifted separately or together by just one spool valve at the push of a toggle switch. A pushbutton is used to activate the pivot cylinder for the transport position.
- Collision safety device
The hydraulic rear folding system includes a hydraulic collision safety device. If the mower meets any obstacles, it can fold back to the rear. The mower is pivoted back into the working position by activating the remote valve.
- Transport
For transport, the mower can be folded backwards. The front guards then automatically fold up hydraulically. This gives you a narrow transport width of only 2.20 m and a high ground clearance during transport. The whole mower is visible in the mirror from the tractor seat.
- SENSOSAFE
SENSOSAFE is an automated sensor-based assistance system that detects animals; during mowing it enables you to identify fawns and other wild animals hiding in the field and to save them from getting caught by the mower. You prevent carcasses from contaminating your forage and avoid the risk of your cattle contracting botulism. This system helps you protect wildlife and your livestock at the same time.
